Is Vaping CBD Right For You?

Forget all of the vaping stereotypes you’ve heard. The truth is, anyone can vape. Vaping is one of the most popular methods of taking CBD because it’s relaxing, tastes good, and can be used anywhere, anytime. Rest assured, our vapes at Foods That Heal You CBD have No Nicotine, No THC, No PG, and No additives. Nothing fake!

 .

1. Getting Started (Charging Your Battery)
When your vape starter kit arrives be sure to charge your battery. It may come with a small charge, but you will still need to charge it first thing. Your Jupiter battery will typically last through about half of the liquid in your cartridge if you are vaping daily. If your battery gets low on charge, it might still vape, but be more difficult to inhale. All you have to do is charge it back up.

.

2. Will CBD Vape Make You High?
No it will not make you high. THC is the compound that causes the psychoactive effect. None of the products we have available will cause this effect or make you high. And our Vape Liquids contain no THC.

.

3. How Long Will It Take To Feel The Effects?
Patience is key. Some may experience a calm feeling or symptom relief right away. Others it may take 2-4 weeks before they experience full effect. The average is 10-14 days. it’s also very important that you use it daily, consistently in order to experience full benefits.

.

4. How Many Puffs Should You Take? How Long Do I Inhale?
When you start vaping, take 3 puffs at at time to ensure you do not burn out the coil. If you’d like to take more puffs, just be sure to allow a minute or two between every 3 puffs to allow the coil to cool back down. The average inhale or draw will vary from 1 to 3 seconds each.

.

5. How Often Should I Vape?
It’s best to start out slowly with 1-3 puffs once or twice a day for the first few days. If you start out too fast you might experience detox headaches or dizziness. If you start out slowly, it will allow your body to adapt to this new dietary supplement. After a few days you can increase the number of vaping sessions per day. For some once a day may be enough, others might vape every hour. It’s going to be different for every individual. But you really can’t overdose on CBD oil.

.

6. Why Is My Vape Turning Color?
It’s very common for the vape liquid to turn a different color, even purple! This can happen when it is exposed to light. it will not affect the quality of the vape. However, you do want to keep it away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

.

7. Do You Have To Inhale Into Your Lungs?
No, you do not have to inhale into your lungs. You can inhale only into your mouth if you prefer. It will still absorb through the capillaries in your mouth. If you do choose to inhale into your lungs, this will increase the efficacy (amount absorbed), but it’s not necessary. And avoid ingredients that may be harmful to your lungs (#14 in this post).

.

8. What Is The Best Way To Store Your Vape Shot Kit
You’ll want to store your vape shot pen in a cool dark place when you’re not using it. However, you do NOT have to take it apart and put it in the case every time. You can leave it together until you need to recharge the battery. Taking it apart too often may increase the risk of accidentally twisting the cartridge open and breaking the seal. If you do take it apart often just be sure not to twist the seal open.

.

9. How Many Milligrams of CBD Are In Each Puff?
Number of servings will vary per person. We suggest a 3 second draw. There are approximately 200-350 puffs per each of our prefilled vape shot cartridges. As you can see that is a wide range because it will depend on the length of the inhale or draw. At 250 mg, if you take 250 draws, that would be 1mg per draw. Also keep in mind, 1 mg of vape may be easily as effective as 5 mg or even 10mg of another method of taking CBD Oil, due to it’s high efficacy and absorption rate.

.

10. Can You Use Your Own Battery With Our Cartridge?
It is possible that a battery you have will work with our cartridges. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility. Our starter kit is designed to work optimally with the low voltage Jupiter battery, and ceramic wickless cartridges.
Therefore we do recommend you purchase the full kit initially to avoid frustrations and to make your vaping experience stress free and safe.

.

11. Are The Vape Shot Cartridges Refillable?
Our Vape Shot Cartridges are sealed tightly for a better vaping experience, designed for one time use. They are not refillable. We do have a CBD Vape Liquid you can purchase and use in refillable vape pens.

.

12. Can I Use My Own Battery With Your Prefilled Cartridges?

For safety reasons and to prevent compatibility frustrations, we recommend you purchase our Vape Starter Kit. If you do choose to use your own battery,  you can find the battery information on our Vape Starter Kit page. But we cannot guarantee compatibility due to the large variety and quality variations of batteries on the market.

.

13. What Vape Pen Can I Use For Refillable?
CBD vape liquid is thicker than e-juice and nicotine juice so it might clog an e-juice or nicotine vaping pens.  Nicotine pens can also burn CBD vape liquid because they typically vape at a higher voltage. Therefore we strongly recommend you buy a vape pen designed specifically for CBD vape liquid at no higher than 3.9 volts. The refillable vape pen I personally like for our Alternate Vape CBD Liquid is the KandyPan Rubi.

.

14. Vape Liquid Ingredients To Avoid!!
Many Vape Liquids contain harmful chemical additives in them you’ll want to avoid. Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), and artificial flavors are the biggies. The Vape Liquids we have available do NOT contain any chemicals or additives. They are all 100% natural, all food based ingredients, including MCT oil (fractioned coconut oil) as a safest alternative to PG or VG.

.

15. Vaping The Gold Label
If you choose to vape our Gold Label concentrate, you’ll need a Low heat wax vaping pen Yokan (R)evolve, and you may want to buy a ceramic donut to avoid the metal coils the come with the pen.
